Next, melt the butter and marshmallows together in a large stock pot. Once totally combined, turn off the heat and add the vanilla extract. Add in the cereal.

Working quickly, stir the cereal into the pot. Add the white chocolate chips and pour the mixture into the prepared dish. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan.

For the topping, scatter the remaining cereal, chocolate chips and sprinkles over the dough, pressing gently to adhere.

Allow the treats to cool and then cut into simple squares or shapes. Cut into squares with a sharp knife, dipping in hot water (and drying it off) in between cuts if necessary, for clean squares.

How to cook Lucky Treats

  1. Prepare a 9x13-inch baking pan and wooden spoon with baking spray.
  2. Base- Melt the butter and marshmallows together in a large stock pot on medium heat. Once totally combined, turn off the heat and add the vanilla extract. Next, add the cereal into the mixture. Working quickly, stir the cereal into the pot. Add the white chocolate chips and pour the mixture into the prepared dish. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
  3. Topping- Scatter remaining cereal, chocolate chips and sprinkles over the top, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Allow the treats to cool and then cut into simple squares or shapes. Cut into squares with a sharp knife, dipping in hot water (and drying it off) in between cuts if necessary, for clean squares.

Notes:

• Since Lucky Charms come in chocolate flavor, try that variety with semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of white chocolate! • Try alternatives cereals like Fruit Loops or Frosted Flakes! Simply replace the cereal where it’s called for in the recipe. Mix up the toppings based upon the cereal. • The best part is that the no bake Lucky Treats is that they do not require any special tools and you can make with simple pantry items.
